Rebuttal

OK, so I've been quiet lately on the blog, mainly because it's just been a vehicle for GWAT (or whatever they like to call themselves these days) to post fake testimonials about themselves. What lame-o-s. I'm really sorry for the people who have had such a hard time trying to report/sue/get money back from them, to no avail. It seems like these douchebags just hide behind everything they can so that you will give them your money. Another obvious question: if they think that they are doing something legal, then why are they so difficult to prosecute?

To the people who are happy with the service (I have to at least hold on to the hope that someone who has commented is a real young Australian worker and has dealt with them and is happy), let me ask you this - would you be happy if you crossed the road and someone demanded $4000 from you for crossing that road? They don't own the road, they are charging you for something that you were doing by yourself, on your own, on a public piece of land? Or if you paid them in good faith because they had said that you had to pay that amount of money to cross the road, and you didn't know any better, and you find out half way across the road that they are charging you for nothing and they won't refund the money? You'd be pretty pissed off as well. Considering they were taking advantage of your naivitee.

My advice to people who think that this company is dodgy is to listen to your heart. You can do all this on your own, you don't need to pay someone to overcharge you for flights, you are more than capable of finding jobs and a place to live BY YOURSELF. This company is drastically overcharging you for a little thing known as 'piece of mind'. Their claims to have cheap accomodation deals is bogus. If you are living on a ski hill or in a National Park, you will be given cheap meals and accomodation because you have to live there! There is no choice! Their overseas offices pretty much do the leg work for you job wise, but basically it's just them cold calling companies and trawling through craigslist and other websites, something you could do on your own! There will be more to come in upcoming days, but let me just say that I am not, do not, have not and will not ever work for GWAT. Their claim that I am "Nicole Smith" is just another one of their lies to get people to think that other people/companies are out to get them and will do anything to 'slander their good name.' I have never even been to Queensland or NSW. Unfortunately, I am a GWAT/Aworldforce/CBI customer who has seen the worst of their mindblowing incompetence/shoddiness with my own eyes and ears and wallet. As for GWAT publishing the real name of their customers and their information for the web to see, they are just putting themselves deeper into shit by releasing personal information which is in direct violation of Australia's privacy agreement act. By inviting me to come forward with my real name so that they can 'let the people know' all the details of my dealings with them is also a violation of the Privacy Act. Alex, if you want to call them on this, be my guest.

If anyone is counting, that's 14 negative comments vs. 3 positive comments. I don't count GWAT comments, as they are erroneous piles of tripe. The majority of information and examples of their dealings that I had put on my first post was information given to the world on YahooAnswers, but quickly taken down by GWAT. People should be able to speak their minds and explain their opinions, that's what makes this a free world.
